I've updated the Handy (Atari Lynx emulator) port for the gp2x:
v0.2: (28.12.05)
------
- using Rlyeh's Minimal Library now (no more usage of SDL)
- scaling is done in hardware now (was software before)
- based on Handy/SDL v0.2 Sources -> Rendering is done in 16bit

next to do:
- sound
- find spaces to optimize speed (still not fullspeed)

Cool hope this can get to be fullspeed with sound someday. You may want to ask for the source to the GP32 Lynx emu from Tuskenraider 2K. It is almost fullspeed with sound on the GP32 at 166 MHz. If you ported that you would get full speed on GP2X.

It works quite fine for me.
The screen is now fullscreen already, cool.
No sound, but doesn't bother me... it's crap anyway ;)

But the menu to chose the games is awful at the moment. You need an option to jump one page at once, REALLY ;)

Or to scroll faster.

Thanks for the good work.

The menu isnt so much "awful" as it is just a bit inconviente for anyone with more than a certain number of Roms, right now I only have a few games on it for the purposes of testing and it's not a problem at all.

In terms of playing, California Games, klax and Gates of Zendicon look just fine, Roadblasters has some weird graphic smearing at the top of the screen, like lines and stuff.

What was TuskenRaider's Emu written in? Now adays it seems like more of an issue in porting than anything.

It was written in "C"
