This is a translation from the news section of gp32spain.com. They have just recived a copy of the new snes emulator for their competition and this is what they had to say about it.

I have been testing several games with both Snes9xgp and with SnesEmu to compare the speed. In all cases, frameskip 3 and without sound Snes9xgp has out performed SNES Emu, which means that it has been improved enough. At the moment when turning the audio on there is a very noticable drop in performance, although many games are perfectly playable. In any case, it gives the impression that without audio and frameskip 3, almost all of the games that I have tested work between 90% and the 100% of the original speed.

Dont wanna sound negative, but if thats the case.... i wont play it

shame, but im sure its down to GP limitations than the author, no pun on him at all :(

GPengine will probably be out very soon, as the new version inc. RF multiplayer will be at the meet-up on Saturday.

Disagree, sure they run and play ok, but it takes away the entire feeling of them.

Still least Flashback will be excellent (almost already is.... so cant wait :p)
