Edit: sorry, it's chloroform, not ether. I think ether would either kill you.
Never seen Fear and Loathing in Las Vegas? Ether has some quite 'nice' effects :)
Dunno about real-life effects, but it seems quite suitable for some psycho-tortureing.

Remove all iron and the person will die, iron is an important part of blood.

Sorry to be pedantic, but I think you'll find it'd be difficult to remove this iron with a magnet, as it would be in complex compounds with other elements, mostly oxygen, and iron oxides are not magnetic.

:p

Sorry, couldn't resist :D
Didn't X-Men 2 teach you anything? You can rip iron out of anyone with your bare hands and they die.

:D
Sorry to be even more pedantic, but they drug his beer with some metal.

If the normal iron in the body could have been used Magneto could have escaped any time.
Sorry to be pedanticst, she only put a drug in the beer to intoxicate him and injected him the metal in the toilet, faking she likes it dirty ... ;)

Don't be so unsympathetic - the whole idea of GP32 is, as JoyGP puts it :-
"Anytime anywhere - Enjoy your GP life"
When I said that, I mean I dont take it to school etc... I take it with me only If I dont have to leave it anywhere un-attended like long drives in the Car Etc...

Sorry to be pedantic, but my post was tongue-in-cheek in the first place, X-Men 2 doesn't teach you anything :)

Oh yeah, that's right, I remember thinking that would probably have killed him...

Hehe, that´s true.
But the person would still die if you removed all iron, that´s what I said. :p

True that it is not magnetic, it is actually a small bit anti-magnetic. It will repulse the magnetic field. The iron in the blood is in the form of hemoglobin (heme).

On a side note, gp32animefreak seems to be an inveterate liar. Yet most seem to find him entertaining, so it matters little.

Because the only english school here (I'm living in germany) is supposed to be for native spekers, but it's 95% german ppl that want to learn english, so all the classes are WAY 2 easyified so they can understand them. And I get horribly bored doing stuff like "Find the volume of a rectangular prism that is 3in x 4in x 12in" and easy stuff like that.
