    Sin

I'm looking at the code right now, and there does seem to be quite a bit. There are 127460 lines total, though many of them are comments, and a couple of files are workspace files. If anyone has Visual Studio, you should check it out. I'm still trying to look for rendering code, so it's...

    Flash Gaming

My desktop doesn't have a great Flash player (it's decent at best), and that's only because I'm on GNU/Linux on an AMD64 platform. What are the chances that the Pandora, which uses an ARM processor, will have a good Flash player? Okay, the Flash specs have been opened up, but work on creating...

    Gigabyte M528

How compatible are they with Linux? I wouldn't want Windows on my computer, which is another bonus point for the Pandora. Besides, for the same price, I got a tx1320us. However, that's a general-purpose laptop, while the Pandora is specially designed for gaming. The two devices have...

    Gp2x N00b, Generic Questions.

Hello and welcome. Let me answer the two questions I can. They stem from my experience. You don't usually need to get it higher. Remember that higher speeds mean lower battery life, and besides, most software doesn't need massive overclocking. Actually, gpSP has pretty good compatibility...

    New Here?

As for some of the best emulated games, there are also some great RPGs for the SNES, if you're into that. Link to the Past, Tales of Phantasia, Secret of Mana, etc. For more action, there are tons of great fighting games for the NeoGeo, including Street Fighter and King of Fighters. Look into...

    Webbased Mmo Might And Magic

Adobe doesn't even release a x86_64 version of Flash for Linux. The Pandora's processor definitely isn't supported.

    Is A Keyboard Necessary?

I'm wondering where we draw the line between a mobile entertainment platform and a laptop. One of the interesting aspects of the GP2X was that it wasn't as powerful as a laptop. Otherwise, it would be a laptop. What about the Pandora? Is it going to be a laptop or a homebrew/gaming platform...

    Welcome To My Dream

I love it. It's everything I could possibly want. I agree about the shoulder buttons (I would have preferred them elsewhere), and I would prefer a monochromatic color scheme (like the GP2X), but other than that, I would buy a Pandora if it came in that package.

    Smash Gp Playable On Pc?

I was only able to find the GP32 and PSP versions. I didn't even find a GP2X version, so if that doesn't exist, then you can't play it on your GP2X either. Perhaps someone else has more information that I couldn't find on Google?

    Recomended Cases

PSP cases work great too. I just picked up a cheap generic one, and the GP2X fits perfectly.

Does The Sd Card For The Gp2x Need Any Specific Layout?

No layout is necessary, unless the emulator in question specifies it in the Readme. Just have it formatted it to FAT32 if not already, and put your files on it.

    GP2X Linux Programming

There's no way to port flash games; the flash player doesn't run on the GP2X. You'd have to recreate the game from scratch, using C or some other language. You could use Game Editor, but if you're serious about making games, you'd better learn C. There's no shortcut to game making.

    GP2X Linux Programming

Try this: http://www.gp2x.de/cgi-bin/cfiles.cgi?0,0,0,0,14,1040. I used this in the past (I run Ubuntu as well). Just make sure to do this first: CODE sudo apt-get install build-essentials Actually, if I remember correctly, you'll still need the SDL libraries. You can copy them out of...

    Gp2x Compared To Psp (n64)

From my experience with the GP2X, it never was meant to be a serious competitor to the PSP. The PSP is about Sony, commercial games, and hacking the firmware to get homebrew going. The GP2X is about users creating the content and supporting the console. Which one you buy and use depends on...
