No issues yet with emulators - you just have to read the instructions to know the key presses needed to load roms etc.
Mame4all works great as does PC Engine emulation so good infact that a Pandora 2 is only needed just because you cannot have too much power.
Basically this device is bloody...
Just needs to be said I think.
Yes queue jumpers not ideal but only 100 (I believe) and this must all be a nightmare for Craig and ED at the moment.
Lets look at the positives for now.
Approximately how far through Craigs queue have we now got to and how long is Craigs queue for batch 1?
I am 1350 - 1450 and given that 900 + 550 (1450) have been or are in the process of being shipped then my Pandora must be getting to within 4 weeks of being shipped.
I am getting optimistic...
I was 41 when I ordered my Pandora - I am now 43 today and the last I heard about 3 months ago was it would be shipped by now.
It would appear today that we are no further forward from what I thought those 3 months back!!! At that point everyone said shipping was imminent etc etc etc!!!!
Not...
What are the realistic chances?
I am not giving up the wait but my feeling is it will be shipped in May.
So in the meantime will have to get the DSI XL unless I am wrong and the Pandora is shipped end of Feb.
Well seriously does not matter - will have both anyway! But prefer a Pandora!
The initial release of early December 2008 was obviously very optimistic even discarding the Global Recession - thats a fact and also not a problem as we all want a device that works 100% ish.
What is the official estimate now?.....and I mean from a source that actually has an idea not guess...
My GP32 FLU arrived this morning (screen looks great even without FLU on - puts Gameboy advance to shame)- tried the NES emulator Little John which is great. In order what should I now try/do?
Thanks
I am getting a 166 FLU anyway and am very interested in Gpengine and would like to know just how good it really is.
I am a registered PC Magic Engine user and think that is awesome - remember it running just about full speed on a 133/166 Pentium 1 many years ago with nearly 100%...
