Still Fresh
Hey,
I don't own a Pandora but I'm looking forward to get a Pyra!
It would be a replacement of my aging Netbook.
I'm a semi-professional Mobil-DJ (It's mainly my hobby), I also have some lights which I controll via QLC+.
I often used vDJ in a VM with USB-Passthrough (because I don't have Windows) but I just tested Mixxx and I think I'll switch.
QLC+ can run on a RPi and Mixxx can run in theory on ARM.
With the OMAP5 in the Pyra it should be possible to run Mixxx and QLC+ at the same time, the only issue is the little screen...
It would be nice to have a 2.screen for Mixxx and use the Pyra-screen für QLC+, but I couldn't find a ~13" 1280x800 tablet-like LCD.
I just found a bunch of USB-Mobile-LCD with 256k colors like this one.
The Cintiq13HD has the perfect sice and plugs but it's way too expensive for just a screen.
This 10.1" has everything except a frame and maybe it's bit small...
It would be cool to program the lights or setting up some playlists on the go (and of course play some games), then pull out the "big" screen and just have to connect the controller.
