I ported sfxr to the PandoraOS:

(Sources included, .bin also included)

sfxr is a little mini-sound generating program useful for designing 8-bit style sound effects for games. See the authors web page here: http://www.drpetter.se/project_sfxr.html

Alas, it seems there is something wrong with the sound setup (ALSA) on Pandora, as we are getting a lot of underruns .. still investigating this, but in the hopes that this will inspire other hackers, I'm putting the sources package up for other developers ..

Take a look in .asoundrc and tweak your ALSA settings. (Really, Linux seems to be in sorry shape .. ALSA, OSS etc are pretty ugly hacks imho :)

Let us kow if oyu cna get some ALSA love in there :)

The thing is, I really don't want to "up the buffers", so to speak .. well, okay if its necessary, its necessary. But I guess there's a lot of work to be done in this area to make it superlative .. so I'll dig in and see what I find ..
