Are My Batteries Already Low?

anything other than energizers or duracells and my GP dies in 4 hours or less. What batteries are you using and for how long. and btw, mines a non flu.

I was thinking about the Li-Ion battery mod, but I lost the link. Does Anyone know of some good rechargebles? Or where I can buy a power cable?

That might be your problem then, just put in some fresh top grade batteries and you should be fine, and when the gp dies, the screen will flicker and all that crap, thats just its way of saying "feed me more batteries please"

With poor quality batteries and at high clock speeds 4 hours is pretty good really.

Only use high clock speeds if you need it.

Try to go for NIMH 2300s if pissible. They last longer than Alkaline and charge in a few hours on a quick charge. Worth every penny.

edit: Sorry about the typo but I decided to leave it as it made me laugh.

Just get some 2300 mAh NiMH batteries and a speed-charger. I can play for about 10 hours, using a FLU GP32 and often overclocking.

It needs to be 3v and the polarity is strange too. The outside is positive and the inside is negative. Best to get a 3v only one not a multi rate as they are too unstable.

EDIT: I second Ravens comments. I've never bothered with power supply just used 4 NIMH 2300s they last ages and you can always have the second set charged and waiting.

Make sure they are at least 2000 mAh or they wont last long. I had some 1300s and they were ok but I got fed up with changing them all the time.

I've already gone thru 3 sets of batteries on mine.
That's why you need rechargeables, you'll save yourself a fortune.
