Button Mapping

Will the operation system support button mapping? If I download a linux game that uses for example the X and Z keys on the keyboard, I would want to map them to some of the buttons. I think that option should be built in the Pandora.

I don't know if the OS will do it, but it's not really going to be an issue. You can't just download any old Linux game and expect it to work. Each game will have to be ported to the Pandora hardware. The programmer that does the porting will (should) re-map the controls to use the most appropriate input method.

For X based apps, it is possible to make a program to generate X keypress events for button presses.

I've done this on the GP2X.
