Could 6th gen emulation be possible if hardware acceleration gets fixed?

I'm not sure how well OMAP5 compares to the Tegra K1, but here's the Tegra K1 running Dolphin just fine:

The Tegra K1 appears to implement AArch64 (aka 64bit ARM) which has been mentioned before, the dophin arm code currently needs to compile.  Quite a lot of work would need to be done to get that to build on a 32bit OMAP5.

I do hope personally that we get a 64bit ARM code on a replacement CPU board somewhere down the line, but probably three or four years on at the very earliest - want to let the software devs have a good go at targetting the OMAP5 before switching architecture.
