Directional pad sluggish

I'm only posting this due to it not being brought up before (search didn't find it anyway, but other buttons instead) so here go's. My directional pad down key is sluggish, meaning that the key works does not shift or rest askew, but rather takes about 2X the effort to move then the other directional pad keys. Any suggestions? Thank you.

Happens sometimes when you just got your unit. The DPAd sometimes is a bit stiff.


Playing a few days usually fixes that.
 
It's usually a small chunk of plastic that is left there when the keyboard buttons (or dpad, action buttons, etc) are removed from its moulding. After a few days or weeks it usually works itself out.


Don't worry about it just yet.
