Do not use cheap SD Cards [SOLVED]

I had a 32GB SDHC Class 6 from ADATA. One day I powered on my Pandora to find it unable to access the card:

Code:
mmci-omap mmci-imap.0: MMC IRQ 0x108000 : ERRI DTO
mmc0: error -110 whilst initialising SD card

On my Linux PC I get
Code:
sd 6:0:0:0: [sdb] 64827392 512-byte logical blocks: (33.1 GB/30.9 GiB)
sd 6:0:0:0: [sdb] Assuming drive cache: write through
sd 6:0:0:0: [sdb] Assuming drive cache: write through
 sdb:

If I try "fdisk -l" it shows my harddisk partitions and then freezes so hard I cannot even kill -9 it. Have to remove the SD card. During the freeze dmesg fills up like this:
usb 3-4: reset high speed USB device using ehci_hcd and address 3

I do remember seeing some message about some "low power mode that was ignored" in bootup or dmesg the other day. Checking dmesg on the Pandora now, there is no such message.

It was in the left slot and I had my OS on it.
I went to the store I bought it in and got a replacement (same card).

Now I powered up my Pandora today and the same thing happened again. Any ideas? Any way for an even more raw access to it? And what to tell the store clerk if I have to get another replacement?

sdb? On padora? Do you also have USB mass storage also plugged or what?

As I wrote, that's on my main PC. ;)
The first code snippet is all the Pandora says.

strange that i have simular problems ,possibly hotfix 3 ? thing is my cards no longer work without any hotfixes so could the hotfix be doing something to our sd cards ?

The only thing the Hotfix does is use a new kernel (the soundfixed one).
No idea if notaz changed anything in the SD-Driver area, but I don't think so.

Another new thing with SD Cards in Hotfix 3 is the Mass Storage - could it be the cards are broken after switching to Mass Storage and back?

My previous card broke on June 22, I think that was before any Hotfix3 (which I installed as soon as the first beta was available).

What cards (brand, size) did you use?
I'm using Extremememory and SanDisk and never had any problems with them.

A-DATA 32 GB SDHC Class 6

Reviews suggest it just sucks: http://www.amazon.com/DATA-Class-Flash-Memory-32GSDHC6/product-reviews/B002BUO5TO/ref=cm_cr_dp_hist_1?ie=UTF8&showViewpoints=0&filterBy=addOneStar

It dies for most of those reviewers at Amazon... so I doubt it's a Pandora error.

I had an issue with my SD card stopping to work correctly after installing hotfix 3. It stopped working with xfce but still worked fine with MiniMenu. The issue seems to be caused by the way hotfix 3 uses SD card labels so it can remember the card in future. My card must have had a label with extended characters in the name or have been in some format the Pandora didn't like. I renamed the card with a SD card reader under Windows and it works fine now (just go into 'My Computer' right click on the card & rename). My card is a bytestor 16gb class 4. I hope this is of help to someone.
