Yep, tiny SD card at the moment.

All paklist.txt has in it is:
speed=1750
bor.pak=Beats of Rage
With 2 or 3 blank lines at the end. I've been reading about, but haven't found anything that has solved my woes. I do, however, know to name bor.pak bor.pak because if I don't - well - iigy's going to tell me all about it ;)

I read about the paklist.txt in the GP32 area but hey - I wondered if it needed that.

Assistance is always appreciated.

Edit: Could I be that freaking stupid? BOR.PAK != bor.pak. It's past midnight here, I really need to go to bed.
Doh! No difference :p

if you are just trying to get openbor to work for gp2x all you have to do is take any .pak file and put it in the same directory as the .gpe file. you can than select which pak you want from the gui.
Yep! I put them in the same directory, but the bor.gpe and the openbor.gpe both give me a permanent black screen when I run them... *scratches head*

I've been getting that, and I've heard of a few people with the same problem. Has anyone managed to get it running on FW 2.0?

OpenBOR works fine for me. The only problem I had was due to user error. I didn't copy the "gui" directory over to my sd, and all I got was a black screen. After I fixed that, it was fine, and I've played a couple of different mods. I'd try copying the files to your sd again if you get a black screen.

Come to think of it, re-copying files has fixed several roms that wouldn't load. There seems to be very poor error checking when transfering files to my sd card.

Thank you LordFu, Fomit and Jbrodack.

The pakfile, though I had started by opening a UNIX text document and changing it and saving it as a new name, wasn't a UNIX text document anymore, so I fixed that. Grrrr UltraEdit should be smarter.

UPDATE: Got it!
Bor works on the bor.pak - go figure ;)
WTFM?
