Hi
Working on Project Starfighter port i have encontered Markus Wolf's site autor of an improved version of the game.
http://www.murkymind.de/

On this page i have found an interesting thing...a library (and a player ) who can play
IFF Anim files.

Do you remember good old Amiga days and is anim files ?
For people ( like me ) who have owned an Amiga System , remember this old days is so sweet..
But what are IFF Anim files ?
See the reference on Wiki for a detailed info http://wiki.multimedia.cx/index.php?title=Iff

Since the Source are released ( and GNU LGPL'ed) i have tried to make a port on GP2X .
I then created a Code:Block project based on this source and after some small changes the player compile and work .
But since i'm not a programmer i don't have the necessary skill to be able to complete the port.
The player need (for my kind of view ) :
Button implementation ...at this time no input from user is implemented
Better stability ...as the program crash often.
A GUI for better interoperability ...maybe with touchscreen
Or maybe inserted on a existent media player..

In other words is a work for a real programmer .... :)

Here are my poor effort...feel free to download and make a better work than mine.

Included in the archive there are Sources and compiled (for GP2X ) binary of the player plus some script and a set of animation files ..
