I have almost finished all lessons on http://www.sthurlow.com/python/
This is the first tutorial I really liked. Most of the tutorials online are written for developers and are too advanced.

I'm writing a small program right now for personal use with the stuff I learned. I was wondering what would be the best way to learn more.
Are there other Python tutorials that are a bit more advanced than the above? I like tutorials with good examples, so not the tutorial from Guido van Rossum.

[Edit] just realized this should have been posted in the I need help section... sorry about that.

You can try reading Dive into Python: http://www.diveintopython.org/toc/index.html and see if that has anything that hasn't been covered by the tutorials you linked.

Best way to 'learn' more is to write a bigger program that is slightly above your skill level. If you want to move into graphics then you can look at PyGame which is a Python binding for SDL.

Thanks! I think I've seen Dive into Python before and thought it was too advanced for my taste at that time. Not a winner at first sight, but could be worth diving in :).

Pygame is definitely something I will check out as soon as I think my basic Python skills are good enough.

Found some interesting stuff here myself : http://www.upriss.org.uk/python/PythonCourse.html
Well, the more choice the better.
