    • .5 personal video (movies)
    • 1 personal audio (I'm going to put all my music on it...)
    • .5 house player (movies on TV)
  • 4game console (to play games)
    • simple or logic games (not my thing, but sometimes I do)
    • 2 emulated systems (I love my Genesis games(and PS1).)
    • 2 native games (probably some Quake I,II,III, among others)
  • 3computer companion (little personal computer)
    • 1 internet (Horray FF)
    • work/job (don't have one :( )
    • 2 personal (I hope to move all my hobby programming onto the pandora)

I also agree with others in that I would like it if you could post the results when this is all done(it would be quite interesting to see).

Chip, according to his criteria, the super class is a sum of the sub class... so your's would be
1 Media Player
3 Game Console
5 Computer Companion

Not a criticism, just a small correction.

I will be using it as a house player for video and audio, streaming from my networked PC to TVs with the TV-Out cable. Tiny little HTPC. But of course that will be secondary to games games games.

Indeed! Expect results at the end of January.

Actually my work intend to be something like "background research" within the extent of 30 pages. But my teacher (project manager) instruct me to do more that just background research and add some my work. I plane do this little survey and test Pandora myself. Initially I planed to have a lot of material and own experience as I looked forward to Pandora at last Christmas or early after New Year 2009.

So hardware fact is on OP site, I add detailed description from this forum and try to verify it with someone competent. SW part is given by used Linux distribution and it means to write tract about it and about installing something other. Last part intend to be about ergonomics and using Pandora as productivity tool (personal computer).

I need almost complete work before Christmas to get inclusion (or credit or initiation? - something needed let to complete the examination). But I can tweak it till March. So I let questionnaire running till January.

I'm not so skilled in English to rewrite whole work in all but I try do my best. :)
