Okay I'm plugging my iMic in to see if it's atleast recognized. and so I goto terminal and type "lsusb" hit enter.
Nothign just goes to a new line...
Any ideas?

Also the only device that appears to work with usb are flashdrives and similar devices.

I can't get a keyboard or moues to work by usb.

You need to put USB 1 devices through a hub

Try sudo lsusb

Keyobard and mice will most probably only work with a hub.
Haven't seen a USB 2.0 mouse / keyboard yet.

weird... sudo lsusb worked! I thought I tried that already? Anyways putting the keyboard/mouse through a hub didn't work. Maybe it didn't recognize my hub? Didn't find it in lsusb. Didn't find iMic in lsusb

Edit: Used a hub...
keyboard/mouse works
iMic is recognized! Shows up in Alsa! but having trouble getting anything to come out of it...

Edit2: To be more specific if I have the imic plugged in audio no longer comes out of the speakers but nothing comes out of the imic. If I unplug it audio comes out of the internal speakers.

uggghhh

I had the imic working through a hub and now I can't get anything to be recognized through USB... why me?
