There's a way to put a movie over 128mb on the Gp32?

First question: Do you even have an idea how movies on GP32 work? How big are your videos and how are they compressed?

Use virtual dub 1.4.7 with divx 4.12 and and MP3 codec.
On a standard 1hr 30 min movie you be looking at:

9fps
200kbps
16 bit sound @ 11,050hz

for around 100mb

Get your fps at around 15 to 17, 128kbps, and 8 bit sound 24kbps @ 11,050hz

heh, I generally compress down to 60mb hence the lower frame rate :p I just doubled the bitrate from my usual compression settings to give a 100mb or so file ;)

Vauster--do you find that reduced frame rate to be choppy? I had 10fps and when the Gp was clocked to 120 it was slightly choppy but with 166 it looked ok.

iam allways at around 17fps, i use 2pass encoding and set the size to 90mb rest for sound, so i allways came near the 120mb @ good quality

4 min interval for dbl post, a new world record!
XD, never seen 4 min between dbls

you must be easily entertained if web glitches give you so much amusement

How long is a 2 pass encode taking you just out of curiosity?
