Nanox / Microwindows Release A Little Update

vnc client? wow

From the launcher I can only load the tetris, scribble, slider and the keyboard.

World and the nterm attempts to start but quits.

by the way, the launcher can launch multiple instances of the same app.

Is there a background under the loader?

i know for nterm and world, have to work on nterm :(

yes there is a background [ i know colors are not right ]
you can check the file launcher.cnf and play with it
--> add applications, change icons, change background
it come from the microwindows package, check their homepage/ documentation too ;)

you don't need a chatboard
http://gp32linux.gp32news.com/micro/
rename initrd.nochat to initrd
modify the start
and comment the line below ( that means add a # in front of the line )
./nano-X & ./nanowm & ./nxkbd & ./ntetris & ./nxview tux.gif ./tuxchess
and add this line ./nano-X & ./launcher launcher.cnf

Sorry, but im a bit stupid and new to this Gp32 stuff.

Does gp32 linux have a gui, or does this have the same usb features as GPlinux?

Thanks! When my card is sorted this is the first thing ill be chucking onto the gp.

Also is this a firmware replacement? And is there anyway of keeping my other firmware at the same time?

Thanks for the swift reply there.

Is this release relatively easy to use now, as ive only delved into the world of linux once (linspire), got annoyed that i cant use much of my great games got bored and went back to Winmdow$, but after getting rid of the partition it fooked up my windows install aswell., i regret it but itll suit me for now.

Thanks for listening to my story :D

I have 2 questions:
1. do I have to put the files in gp:/gpmm/linux/x or without /x
2. I have put the files in gp:/gpmm/linux/x and in gp:/gpmm/linux/ I removed from the start file the # in front of ./nano-X & ./ntetris but it says ./nano-x no such file or directory, and the a few file more, what did I do wrong?

I load the launcher with:

./nano-X & ./launcher launcher.cnf

in the start file.
