New Classic Pandora owner: Cost of replacing LCD Cable?

Hi guys,

I am new to the Pandora. I bought a used Classic Pandora on ebay for a reasonable price and in very good condition. However, after a couple of weeks the display began to show what is appaerently the "purple tint of death".

How much would it cost and how long would it take to replace it? According to dragonbox.de, the cable is just 17,00 Euros but I presume I would need to add shipping (2x) and labor costs to that as well. How long would I have to be without my Pandora?

Has anyone had experience with dragonbox handling their Pandora?

Also, it appears the hinge on the display makes a kind of creaky noise. Is there a fix for that?

The fix would be free, I would only ask for the 17 EUR + shipping.

Please download the RMA Sheet from here:

You can order an LCD Cable in the shop and leave a note with your order to not ship it but use it for the repairment.

Usually, such repairs are being done within a week.

The creaking should be fixed as well then.

Thanks for the quick reply, EvilDragon!

That sounds like a very reasonable procedure.

I'll download the form and send it and my Pandora your way sometime this summer.
