New Gpadvance Version - V1.48

mmu en cours de modifications
les reglages actuels de la memoire cache peuvent diminuer les performances

mh.
he [probably! I'm Italian... :D ] says he's modifying the mmu and that this version's cache memory settings could slow down the whole thing

after 1.45 and 1.44 didnt work 1.46 starts again - but metroid doest start anymore (that one worked in 1.43)

any clue ?

Hey success again. Mario Vs Donkey Kong 16MB rom works up to the menu as well. unfortunately Sim city and F 14 tomcat don't work at all. F-14 was emulated almost perfectly in 1.43 but ran very slow.

The menu to Zelda works now and Golden Sun is playable at quite a decent speed (though it has graphical glitches). Overall this version is much faster.

wow golden sun plays
this emulator is really shaping up

what is this emulator being coded in
c++ probably
do you think they'll use asm at all

For the menu I think start + select would be best, most games use start for pause and most don't use select at all- when they do its for some sort of sub menu though.

The main problem of the GP32 is its controls, if it had a d-pad in place of the stick and some more buttons it would be the best thing ever.

Well, most parts of the processor is not even emulated at all, but instead is living on the gp32 hardware as if it was a GBA (this is _much_ faster than any emulation, including assembler) but the other parts are in c++. At this moment however, compatibility is the concern, not speed.

Exactly, im pretty sure they work for compability now and speed it up like 150% later :)
