Newman M-touch

Actually i was just about to start a thread on this for help with adding apps.

Well i have been able to extract the firmware images via dumpromx and got the WinCE files and the apps files, i have added more apps and recompiled the apps image file with dumpromx, i was able to copy over the new apps file to the player, but it did not install any of the new programs (which i pretty much knew it wouldn't).

So asking for any help from people who know more about WinCE and how to get new programs to be recognized and be installed when the firmware loads. You can get the firmware files and other info on how to extract them here and you can get an idea of how the firmware is loaded on the player here.

The strange thing is on the generic manual of this player written by the manufacturer of the main chip SISIS show these type of players coming with a NES emulators (Pocketnester???) but i have yet to see any of these players with NES support.

Any help would be appreciated.

I don't own that nice toy and I am not experimented to WinCE... sorry :p

I guess there is something like a filelist and a CRC which are hidden somewhere... but that's all I could say !
