Hey all,

I wrote a piece about the Pandora for The Escapist Magazine that went up this week -

http://www.escapistm...89-Pandoras-Box

Thanks to ED it ended up being mostly about the community.

(I posted this on the OpenPandora boards a couple of days ago, but I'm not sure how much cross traffic there is. So, with apologies to anyone seeing this twice, I thought I'd post here too.)

I'm looking forward to reading your comments. Enjoy!

Oops. Thanks for kindly pointing this out!

Nice article. Makes me feel like I'm part of something special even though I've done nothing but give my 2 cents here and there. :)

Thanks for sharing.

Quote from a comment on that article
"Mark Linkhorst
First Anniversary of the Pandora Promotion happening in my Open Pandora Specialty Shop:
http://www.ithic.com
Buy a Pandora ($499) and two 32GB SDHC Centon Class X cards ($84) and get a free Pelican case of choice that is currently in-stock on the site.
Offer ends on the 26th of May at midnight PST."

Is that for real or does someone need to flag that up as BS?

^ As far as I know, the US-based Pandora store named there is that of one of our members, Mjlink. The link is genuine. :p

Ok, read the interview.

What can I say... not bad. Thank goodness you used EvilDragon as your primary source. I bet if you'd talked to Craig instead, the story would be much less about the community (which seems to always be getting in Craig's way) and much more about how the Pandora is a great native British computer project in the old Sinclair tradition (never mind that it was designed by people from at least five countries and three continents).
