I tried on Caanoo with and without GINGE but with no success.

Tried the pack with the installer, gpe and ini are created, games installed, but a black screen at launch.

Someone could give a try ?

Try a different game or wait a few minutes for the game to load, on the Wiz I get a black screen for a quite a long time before the game starts, also there are different versions of Angry birds, the one I used was about 800 kbs I think.

Maybe later today I can try my version on the Caanoo and make a video as well..

Any update on this? Would you be able to point us to the version you got working on the wiz?

Thanks.

Is anyone working on porting this?

I just installed the caanoo development environment last night... trying to decide what to tackle first.

If no-one is working on this, I thought I'd give it a whirl...

go ahead. You might find some help on #caanoo on either efnet and freenodes (irc).

Hello everyone! I was thinking, has anyone even tried to work on a port of this?
I'm not exactly a fan of Angry Birds ( Yeah, mock me if You want :p ), but there are a lot of other really great games for mobile phones.
Here are a couple of examples:

Gish:

Prince of Persia Classic:

I am very interested in this because these and many other mobile phone games would be a blast to play on the caanoo.

yeah, a lot of Gameloft games for normal phones... will be fantastic to have this on caanoo, but at his time on the wiz i never understand how to use it

I started work on porting a few weeks ago, and then got really busy (out of town on vacation etc...) I should get back working on it this week.

Awesome! Can't wait!

I was thinking, could it be possible to emulate Symbian OS applications as well? I'm not too familiar with this, but I know that there are quite a few pretty cool games for it as well, like Tomb Raider Legend, and quite a lot of other games with 3D graphics that the caanoo should be easily able to render ( I do realise that emulation on itself is a pretty speed consuming task though. ).
