soooo....

would i have to convert a load of video files of less than 200 frames ( avi, mpeg, etc ) to this format.
then hook up gp2x to a projector
then, sit with the gp2x while some does some superstar djing on the wheels of steel
watch as everyone is entranced by the funky gfx before them.
is that right?

can any video file be converted to this bmp file sequence?

is there a premade collection of them anywhere?

Yeah, that's it, you got it right.

Any video can be converted into .bmp files,
you can use virtualdub (www.virtualdub.org) to do that.

Collection of K2X video files ?
Well, a few are included in the pikix downloadable archive, and you can grad a few extra in the archives of pikix v3,v4 and v5.

But, as a creative VJ, you're supposed to creat your own video loops ;)

Looks good to you ?

it does look good to me, i'm a resident dj for a night a few of my mates run every so often at local nightspots. we play hard house, breaks, electro, that kinda stuff. i think that to have someone creating some good video that is well in time with the choons would be awesome.

the only stumbling block is the projector. i, nor no-one that i know owns one, so that'd mean hiring one for the night at around £60. that's a lot considering that some nights we dont even break even.

if i ever manage to get it going one night i'll video some of it for you.
