Pyra may be illegal in Minnesota?

Especially in airplane mode, as then airlines might make phones completely disallowed on planes, and you'd have to ship them separately wherever you're going.

This law makes it illegal to sell a smart phone in this state, not to send one there. The buying happens in Germany where the server and the shop is located.

I assumed the buying happened where the buyer was located.
Then it would be very difficult to enforce.  Better not get caught buying a Pyra, mobile device designed to give you more freedom, while in Minnesota...maybe cross the border, or have a friend or family member complete the transaction for you.  I can't believe you would become an outlaw because you bought the wrong portable gaming computer.  Stupid nanny state.

You'd probably only get 1 - 2 years in the Graybar Hotel for this plus probation.....

;)

They would probably confiscate the device, realize how much freedom it gives without any way for them to remotely monitor owners or disable their devices. They will have a panic attack about this ultra mobile/concealable ideal terrorist device and promptly make Pandora / Pyra ownership illegal across the entire USA.

Called it here first. :)
