Well I don't know about the floppy version, incase you have that... but for the CD version;
Setting up for GP32 under xp / win2k.
- finally got the entire disc to copy to my harddisk. (took a few goes, it's way old and mankey now)
- copied the files listed in the gp32 ROTT versions readme from the folder where I had copied the CD onto my GP32 in /gpmm/ROTT/
- Installed .fxe to /gpmm/
- bob was my uncle.
Playing ROTT under xp / win2k.
- Ran the setup proggie from the folder where i had copied the cd, at some point near the end it crashed.
- Ran SNDSETUP thing from the folder where ROTT tried to install, set the sound / midi device to none.
- Ran the game. It's plays *really* bad under win2k / xp, possibly slower than it did on my old 486. In fact, the frame rate on the gp32 is lightening compared to this.
I really suck at the GP version, but I am learning quickly to adjust to the controls...
Hope this helps.
