Damn (naw)mcx, those are amazing! How long does it take you to make these?

:3 Thank you!

In Apophysis I'm about 5-10 mins? Rendering is about 8 mins. Photoshop is about 5 mins. I just use lots of scripts, and fuck around from there :D

↓That's gotta be the best one... Chaotic yet uniform with the regularly shaped structures... You wouldn't happen to have the settings for it stored away somewhere?

@S-r-ex, thanks for finally uploading something to the Fantasy gallery! :p

You've come up with some interesting stuff of late. Many-a-right-click-save as I really want a Pandora to see these on.
Slight improvement from some of your hand-drawn efforts. :)

So there should be a reasonably easy way to have the desktop wallpaper switch automatically every n minutes right? Because choosing just one of (naw)mcx's abstract creations is too hard.

Take all these wallpapers and put them on http://pandorawalls.dyndns.org/

First off, I applaud the effort that has gone into setting up a community wallpaper site. But, there is something that I dislike about whatever software is being used. It totally obscures the original file names that the artists would have used for their images with the size names such as "pandora-sized.png" which makes the person saving them have to rename them to something made up. Is there any way that this could be changed so that the original name comes through with just a size extension tacked on the end or something?

I'll look into it right now.
The reason why the URLs are uniform is that you should be able to mass-download them by making a script that iterates through "http://pandorawalls.dyndns.org/image/view/${i}/pandora-sized", but in order to make the human experience better, I'll try to create two URLs for each image; one with the name and one without.

EDIT1: I've now made file downloads behave like actual downloads, and images get the names that they had when they were uploaded. I'll improve on this in a sec, though.

EDIT2: When you click on download links, they will now be downloaded as "$imagetitle-$size.$extension" but their actual links remain unchanged to allow for batch downloading. Oh and while I was at it, I recompressed all PNG images on the site so that they are smaller but have *exactly* the same quality as before. Bada bing, bada boom :p
