The Edimax EW-7811Un (sold on iThic.com) or the Linksys AE1000 (with .PND file available)? I don't know if this is the right board to post this at.

I believe the Edimax has support right out of the box.. Someone can correct me if I'm wrong.

Edimax is small and supported out of the box (rtl8192cu), LS is big, dunno about the chipset version, probably a RALink.

My wifi adapter (a TP-Link Model No TL-WN723N) uses the rtl8192cu module too, and works very well.

How does the speed of the edimax (using "g") compare with the internal wifi of the pandora?
Seeing how the internal wifi has speed issues it's most likely a huge improvement, but using USB will increase power consumption.

I've noticed the USB power consumption... If I hook up a keyboard and mouse... it really starts to drain the battery.

Is there a good test available to test to see if it's the internal wifi that's slowing my browsing down, or just the unit itself.

thanks,

Christopher.
