Waitaminnit! You mean there's more to the GP32 than emulators?

emulators. and that's the thing I'm so not doing right now :p

i bought mine, just because of playing C=64. playing giana sisters on the go was my dream (thats really my all time fav game).

right after i bought it, osnes9x came out, and since then, i hope for an update, because the snes was the console, i played most (especially the FF series, but also the platformers and the snes has a lot).

but now, i think about bying a zodiac, to play snes, because i don't believe of an update...

I chose emulators & ports but in fact that is not the only one reason...
also MP3 and divx player is a great feature :D

see you

EDIT :

I think you are wrong...
I wont loose my faith in yoyofr...We can trust him : he already said he didnt stop the GP32 dev...give him time (even if it is taking too long for you)...

I'm going to say Movies, emulation is also good, but I'm not really doing it right now. (Not since I got annoyed at the transparency thing with Seiken Densetsu 3 :()

Currently watching Band of Brothers, Dogtanian and err... Paris Hilton :)

EDIT: I'm keeping the faith with yoyo too!

I really did only buy the GP32 for a handheld C64, all the other stuff was just a bonus. I would love to see Frodo "finished" with save states, better compatibility and controls etc but for now it's really great!

That's not to say that I don't now use GPCinema, CaSTaway, Gigadrive etc too, the GP32 really surpassed my expectations and the community was perhaps the biggest bonus...

Bought it for GB/C and Spectrum emulation and have mainly ended up playing NES and homebrew games/ports. I also wait with baited breath for each new version of the SNES and Megadrive emus...

Got it initially looking for a cheap portable divx player. Saw it could also play mp3s (and now wma and ogg etc), ports, its own small library of games, homebrew games, emulators, picture viewer, txt viewer.... etc.

I was looking for an mp3 player as well and the deal was just too good to overlook.

Edit: And johncross85, fgb32 is still being worked on  so you can have better gbc emulation at some point :).

bought it for the mega drive emulator........................i really should have done more research but i wasnt dissapointed due to littlejohn and all the other games to keep me amused while the scene picked up....and not to mention gpcinema for the *cough* specialist movies if i got bored

Cool to hear that GBC is still in development, though I'll probably end up playing the NES versions of most GB games - LittleJohn rules!

Actually, that reminds me that I never got round to donating to Yoyo for LittleJohn. Anyone know where I should send it (doesn't seem to be in the readme)?

[Edit] - Ignore that - his email address is on his website, obviously ;)

Emulation: I was under the impression that it was capable of and that there already were full speed, nearly 100% compatibility, emulators for GB/GBC, GBA, SNES, and Genesis (/.).
I had no illusions due to the kind people of this board, such as yourself, making things very clear. To be honest I've not even touched the SNES/MD emulation because I'm more than happy with the PC Engine/Atari ST emus. There are so many great games for the PC Engine I never knew existed! (keep in mind that the TG16 only had limited exposure in the UK)
