Where there's a will there's away! I think 2 will do though... iMacs are such a pain in the ass to open... I may have to open her back up for a ram upgrade... but I think its done light wise

Wow, people actually have worse areas than me.

Strange how very little people seem to have dual monitor setups?

I guess techically I have a dual monitor set up w/ my laptop because it is connected to an Apple IIe color monitor and my desktop is extened onto there. I watch video files from that, but that is behind me and Kind of impractical to use otherwise...

I imagine other people have their computers hooked up to tvs... I wonder if tvs count as dual monitors?

That's strange? That's like saying "Strange how very little people seem to have steam-powered computers" or "chocolate kettles" Not many people can afford two monitors and most importantly find an actual use for the second one ;)

In my opinion, idling in irc requires a dedicated second monitor :)

I could never constantly switch between windows to check if something new has been written in any of the channels - it would drive me insane! With a dual monitor setup, you can just glance at the second monitor to check, whilst reading webpages and stuff on the first.

iTunes on a second monitor is nice.

I also use it for photoshop, watching video whilst using other things, and for irc.

Both monitors are 17 inch and cost £10 each from Oxfam :) .
