Would You Actually Buy A Commercial Game For Gp2x?

Well, the Manticore out now is a freebie; once I get new artwork, new audio and new levels together, I'll likely sell it for $9 or something on Pocket PC.

For GP2X I've got my claws into a few good games, so its just crunching the numbers to see if it seems worthwhile.. or if I'll jsut 'not lose too much' :)

If I'm going to sell somethign, its not going to be crap :)

I would definitely buy a $15 or so commercial game. I would prefer it to be an rpg or adventure/action game, but I would also be willing to pay for a highly polished puzzle game, even if it is a lumines or tetris attack clone (I LOVE those games).

Ecchi game please.

Actually.. give us some nice rpgs, with stunning 2d effects! :D
Id easily fork over 15bux for one. Either that, or some kind of 3d action game that involves animals to move 80x faster than the speed of light.

As we're all talking about what type of game we'd like, a 3D racer would be good for me, and I'd definitely buy. It wouldn't even have to be intensive 3D - wireframe would do :)

Either that or a game involving rolling marbles into holes by tilting the level. I'm hooked on those.

I would be unlikely to buy a commercial game for the GP2x - it would have to be something special for me to change my mind (e.g. an exclusive updated version of Elite). I bought my GP2x for emulation so I donate £15 to the authors of the emulators I use (just MAME and the Mega Drive emulator so far).

if a game is worth the money, I'd buy it. Why would someone not buy it just because it's for the GP2X?

I wonder if I'm right about the mercury port that craig is hinting...

whats mercury?

i remember reading that craig said a lot will be happening around february, with lots of commercial games coming out...but still nothing...

I would pay if I liked the game, so I would need a little downloadable demo to check ;)

I would pay $20 for it if I liked the game.
