Gianas Return

The original C64 version was pulled shortly after being released. The Speccy version didnt make it beyond review copies and is currently classified as being 'missing' by the leading Spectrum archivers.

It was never made into a sequel, though there is some cracked unoffical 'sequels' out there!

They couldn't release it, because they never got permission to release it from the original makers ok the game.

I still think that's kinda lame. I wonder if all the emulators out for the GP32 got permission from Nintento/Sega/etc ...

Flack, that doesn't make sense, if you think about it a bit.
I think it makes perfect sense. Everybody here plays ROMs they didn't buy. Everybody here listens to MP3s they didn't pay for. So it's like ... no, they won't release their port of Gianna Return, but we all play a pirated copy of the original and no one cares. Shrug.

I'm not gonna go all Swiss Cheeseman and start yelling at anybody, it just seems like a shame to me because from all the screen shots, this game looks like the best GP32 game I've ever seen. I love platformers with pretty colors, what can I say.
