GP32 Backlit shipping

it depends on the shipping you got. i got the airmail 2-12 days. since im across a whole ocean it will probably take 10 days :(

I said 24-48 hours, but I'm not to confident I'll get it until next week.

You should get them on the next work day, I know easter is in the way, they go via UPS's 24 - 48 hour service, you will have to see when UPS are working over easter.

Oh, and you might notice that the GP32 seal is broken on the outer box, this is because gamepark didn't mark the backlit ones in any way, they just put them in with our normal delivery so we had to open all the boxes and look inside.

I wonder if im gonna get stuck paying some kinda of import tax stuff that everyone is talking about that would suck. i live in the US. What do you think shibaz? somone payed up to 80 bucks extra.

"I got my system through Play-asia.com and it just arrived today. Really speedy service, but they did not warn me of customs charges (I live in Australia). UPS called me and said I had to pay them $81 Australian (about $50 US) otherwise i wouldn't get the package. Since I'd already paid for it, i was forced to hand out the extra cash. pretty peeved - that's the price difference between the regular and the backlit versions. "

i ordered mine from gbax

That's what I'm scared about!!!

I live in AUstralia too.

Anyone here live in Australia and have bought a GP32???

As long as you live in the European Union you only pay VAT. Outside the EU I have no idea :)

I hope not, but I have a bad feeling somethings gonna happen. I still have to go buy a SMC tommorow.

I am also in the US (Minnesota) and ordered mine from GBAX.com but somehow during the journey the hundred digit got rubbed off the customs ticket, so I did not have to pay any import tax, i.e. it was under the import tax threshold,

shame really ;)

Na i didnt get any tracking # :( . Im kinda glad i didnt cause ill be stuck on the computer refreshing every 5 min.

Yeah either did I, but Jacquelyn from gbax.com just sent me mine and told me that UPS should of emailed it to me when it was shipped. I pasted the tracking number to the tracking thingie on ups.com and it said it was invalid....?

Maybe I'm just doing something wrong because it is an international shipment, but I'm kind of freaked out. Craig said we should of gotten the tracking numbers when it was shipped (which we didn't), and UPS is saying that my number is invalid.

Craig, tell me I'm doing something wrong :(

Do I have to order an entirely new one, Craig, if I want a backlit GP32?
Hee...and I just bougt one a few weeks ago.

They got the UPS tracking working for me. My package left Philly at 3:16am this morning. Hopefully I'll get it today!

I'm gonna order one of the lighted GP's next week, just wondering if GBAX is selling any of the black GP32 systems with the light, or is it only the standard white one? If these are the white ones only, anyone know where you can get a black one?

If I wanted it to look like crap, I guess I could dye it. I'd much rather get an officially colored one.
