this is Hundredsfeet. its a topdown retro arcade survival hunter shooter about a lone man saving humanity from impending giant centipede doom. the game studies dynamic difficulty adjustment (like flOw), advancing the player in skill and understanding rather than in game attributed and other rpg elements, function driven design, and other stuph.

this next game is my arcade hacknslash Overgrowth. its about a farmer who must protect a special plant from aggressive, invasive weeds. the fighting will be similar to zelda. ive got a lot of the art done and i'll make a demo in gamemaker sometime soon.

the last game i will show is Maha. Maha is a topdown adventure shooter set in the vedic (ancient india) times. this is a screenshot of the demo im making in gamemaker, it looks really crazy because im testing how many creatures i can cram in the level at once. i think im up to 35 of each of the seven animals. i'll post the exe when i find some place to host the file. anyone have suggestions?

ohhhhhtay

is it that you're not interested in programming, or just want to work with someone to share the load? If you are interested, i would definitely recommend you give a go to learning to program by roughing out some of your ideas. You speak of gamemaker, why not try and go further with, say, fenix, or even C/SDL.

By the way, I like the colourful simplicity of your graphics, very old-school too :)

thanks sphinxter!

and msnature, its that im just not interested in programming. my brain doesnt enjoy it. so even though i most certainly could learn it (and will eventually). id much prefer to find someone who enjoys it so that i can focus on what i enjoy.

i stumbled upon fenix and it seem like a good place to start, but i cant figure out how to install it on a mac :(
