Ambient Music

The GPL shouldn't come into play on this. It's music, not code. You're not linking your music with a library of any sort... You'd end up shipping with two licenses - one that covers the binary / source code, and one that covers the resources like music and graphics.
I'm sure if you visit the FSF they've plenty of coverage about licenses both for code and for media.

Edit: Which is exactly how most game publishers release their game engines: ala Id. You can use their code for anything the GPL allows; however, if you want to play their game you still have to buy it for the resources. I believe there are some GPL like versions of the creative commons licenses, and I know there are BSD style versions. Most require attribution, which isn't a feature of the GPL, or, I think, of the current BSDs.
