Hello
I am new to the forums and I was wondering if there is a cable that I could fit in my pocket, or some kind of wireless adapter that I could carry and bring win my pandora into any random room and connect the pandora to the tv. Something that could be connected quickly and work well.

I'd say a short usb extension cable (maybe 1ft - 1m) and this adaptor should do the trick!

Those usually need drivers. That page says:

Requirements: Microsoft Windows® XP 32-bit (Service Pack 2), Windows® Vista®, Windows® 7 32-/64-bit

OpenPandora plans to sell a long cable to connect to TVs, but it's delayed. Someone posted about making their own, but I gather it will require a bit of an adventure.

there are a lot of products that say that and work fine on linux... just aren't known or advertized by the mfg that they are linux compatible... you pose a good point, nonetheless. and I make note that a small bit of research on whether that setup is linux compatible is in order...

Haven't we already determined that USB VGA/video out devices will be too slow and processor intensive to be useful for moderately heavy video or emulation?

If not, I would like to hear from someone with some experience with these and someone to test it on their pandora.
