I'm pretty sure this has been answered elsewhere, but I can't find it at the moment.

If someone takes the option to upgrade to a classic unit then what exactly does that consist of?

I'm under the impression that it includes a hand-fixed pcb from some failed circuitco run (with original OMAP / 256 MB of memory) not a used board from a customer return.  Everything else is current hardware, i.e. new silver case, new style lcd cable, etc.  Is this accurate?

More to the point, it is a PCB from before the upgrades to the memory.

Well, it's a mixture of both.

We've got a huge box with PCBs which we're testing and fixing.

Some of them are from upgrades, some of them are new ones from CC that had issues before.

All parts that wear out have been replaced.

You've got full warranty on both though.

Alright I've taken the plunge.  Upgrade email is sent.  ED, it has been said many times, but thanks again for doing what you can to salvage this situation.
