Really cool souped up aga amiga. Im sure some of you guys know about this already but its shipping now and a daughterboard attachtment will come later.

an atari falcon core will be developed for this board too and an st/ste and more. you just re-flash each new core.

There is already the FireBee for Atari ST on FPGA :) But doing it all in one fpga board is hot.

jeff

Wow, they got the price down pretty good.. $199EUR is pretty amazing for that kit :) The FireBee is like 2-3x that amount :)

That's quite interesting.

As I see it's aimed at recreating arcade and old computer hardware in a FPGA board…

It could become a serious contender to actual arcade hardware (Many PCB suffer from dying RAM, capacitors, etc.).

And it's even able to output video in many formats (composite, VGA, DVI, and 15kHz arcade monitors/tv).

Really nice and interesting.

The boards if full of updates and pictures !

Looks like the iCP2 kickstarter page.

I've been looking round to try and get some more info, wondering if this may be out of my league for setting up.

Can't find a site to purchase from though even if I wanted to.

Does anyone have any experience of these?

At the moment you just e-mail mike and ask for one.

They may be on amikit later.

Shouldnt be too hard to set up.

Usb and other stuff is supported.

VERY tempted but mainly want it for AGA Amiga so will wait for a review or video to show it working.

Yeah. There is some software incompatability i think but the add on daughterboard had a real 060 processor which solves any issues.

It will be a while before i get one id say.

I've been looking round for more info on the FPGA devices that are available and found this on youtube.
