GamesCom 2012 conclusion?

Fen-Fire by name ... Playing with fire in the pic...

Pyromaniac? :)

I wondered what you were doing in that shot, blazing a Zippo lighter by looks of it, couldn't think why, now I think you just have one burning next to you at all times.

Clue was in the name all along

i was trying to sell flamegrilled pandoras :-D

no, i was just secure them with steel rope and made shrink tubing over the end. and you need heat for the tubing ;-)

Well, I'm not on the big photo, but you can find me on the pics from the first two days. The girl with the red pandora-shirt :)

You...where the one I talked to for short when Michael was repairing the Pandora of Barnaby...right?

i was there on tuesday and wednesday. i don't think we met.

I know that the Köln gamescom has barely wrapped up but I was wondering what the conclusion was; if new orders had been made and that the positive response from the crowd had generated enough buzz to see sales soar high through the ceiling.

P.S Thanks Linux-Swat for all the pictures and updates.

Yeah, and more pragmatically, was the investment of getting a booth worth the cost? (probably way too early to answer, but it would be interesting to look at the sales in 6 months post the gamescom vs 6 months before, and confirm if there is an increase in trend).

I actually can't say anything about the worthiness of the booth but what i can say is that in general the visitors gave a positive feedback. So at least i think we will get a bunch of new costumers in the following weeks.

That's hard to say. They can be positive at the show, but overwhelmed by what they saw overall everywhere and simply forget about it if they do not get reminded about the Pandora existence... It's possible as well. While I hope for new orders, of course.

They won't forget it because we gave them flyers with big pictures of the Pandora and some additional infos on it PLUS a code for EDs shop which gives you a discount of 5% when you buy a Pandora. ;)

Shop activity certainly increased (from 900 daily visitors to 1200), so that's a good sign.

Some orders were made, but don't forget that not everyone has 500 EUR lying around right away, they probably want to check out more information, some might be waiting for the 1GHz Pandoras.

The coupon is valid until September 15th, so there's no hurry for them to order right away.

I got a lot new contacts from bloggers, game designers, etc. who are interested, even some computer shops as local retailers, so it's a pretty good thing I've been there :)

We'll probably see how well it really worked within the next 2 months - that should be enough for most interested customers to save the money :)

Thanks ED. Keep statistics of this period and put it on a graph. It would be interesting for the sales side.

P.S You really seem to like smilies. :)

great job to everyone that made it there looked like a great time and looked like a lot of heads were turned.

Finally back home after a semi-expected extra day in Cologne.

Here are the pictures from the last day.

No team naming for me, i like little secrets ;^p.

What's with the silver painted D-Pad and face buttons? An experiment? Must say, they look nicer in black, it's all about that sexy, sexy contrast.

All-in-all, looks like a riot... which they'd have stuff like this in Norwich so I didn't have to travel to join in :D

Yeah, hoping for a return next year, maybe I'll manage to show up.

No, the First Video was to long, now, it's uploading the same Video on a Account that Supports Video up to 200GB:)

Maybe it is completed, at the moment im not at home.
