How Does Pandora Emulate So Well?

I've been looking forward to the pandora for some time now, granted I didn't pre-order because I wanted to see what the first impressions would be, and I've seen a few videos of it emulating n64, ps1 and even dreamcast. And all of the games I've seen so far seem to run almost flawlessly.

My question is, how does the pandora emulate so well when computers 4 times as powerful can't run them at all.

Is the pandora just that good at simulating the architecture of the console?

On a side note is there a planned date for the second batch to come out?

And here's the really far fetched question: Does the pandora have the potential to emulate the gamecube? (crazy I know, and probably sounds like I'm stuck in a pit of noob)

Not all games, the pandora seems to have better compatibility then any emulator I've seen so far.

Um currently PSX emulation, has pretty shaky compatibility, and N64 even more so. I'm not knocking the emulators or the coders, as the emulators are in beta state, but emulators on the PC have far greater compatibility.

And if we do ever see dreamcast emulation, it won't be able to run games that used the WinCE libraries (or any games that used the MMU), whereas the PC Emulators can.

There are many reasons to love the Pandroa... don't make up ones that don't exist :p

I didn't think I was making them up.

This is the dreamcast video I was talking about.

I wish the Pandora could emulate GC too, but that's definitely not possible at anything close to playable speeds no matter what you consider playable. GC emulation isn't gonna happen on handhelds for a few years, which is a pity, I'd love to play Zelda WW on the go.

Sure, feel free to add some more info to the mail nobody is interested in anyway :p
Just joking round ;)
The mail preorder is there so that people who are interested in the device can preorder before the newsletter is sent out. If someone registers on the boards and asks, he is qualified, imo.

Ye watching that Daytona video again made me lust after getting hold of that Dreamcast emulator again.

AFAIR the original developer lost interest and Avensis took it on but there's some kind of bug preventing it starting at the moment.

NullDCe is having code clean up right now and will be posted here: http://code.google.com/p/nulldce/
drk||raz and zezu are probably too busy atm with something to finish though.

It's supposedly being sent to anyone that signed up for the mailing list, but Craig is very slowly trickling it out for some reason. Almost trickling as slowly as the Pandora itself is, I'd say :p

So even when we get the Dreamcast emulator at least full speed some games just won't work? Why?
