Movie Request Topic

I'm sticking to my previous request of apt-get or some graphical frontend being used to automatically download and install something.

Oh and also proof that internet porn sites work :p

I wouldn't mind seeing a demo of the Pandora's TV out capabilities on a 40+ inch HDTV. Of course, they might've done this already. I'm not sure. I missed it if they did.

How about the Pandora loading and viewing a magazine in pdf format. Something like Scientific American or whatever the developers have in their own country.

its been a long time since ive heard craigx saying: video coming up soon... :(
But, then several days after that he said a couple of things. One was that it sounded like the video was taking longer than expected, something needed to be redone [1]. Another was that he said that there was yet another CNC case coming [2]. It did sound like he was still working on the video, and that it was still coming.

"RISC architecture is gonna change everything. "
"Yeah. RISC is good."
lol, some technical dialog in this movies are the most non-sense ever :"]
There's one Polish movie that kinda revolves around "hacking" and there's one cult scene where such dialog takes place:
"So? How goes it?"
"It's fortress, a classic one, triple-firewall. Impossible to breach."
"Have you tried hacking it with Emacs through sendmail ?"
"Yeah, but they redirected me to a fake."

Oh the precious "WTF" moments... :D

Err, how about seeing a Pandora boot up into a full Linux OS (Angstrom distribution, say) and then see the user conenct to a "random" WiFi network and browse the Internet?

I want to see Craigix reading this topic and replying "it's coming guys" B)

And psx4panodra, browsing on firefox, more of Angstrom, things like that.

He's not going to be connecting to wifi points or browsing the web without working Wi-Fi drivers.

If I had a Pandora I'd be churning out movies every 5 minutes, it's a really great way to review and promote video capture devices for starters! I think the guys working on it have better things to do, unfortunately. It could probably be taken as a good sign that Craig is busy!

every pandora owner should upload one single movie on youtube. then we would have loads of more videos to watch :)

It takes enough time an effort to make one single unpolished video, wouldn't you rather they spent it finishing the Pandora? Everyone seems to want to have their cake and eat it... as absurd an expression as that is, I can't help but quote it.

Craigix and Co, aren't making blog posts because nothing is happening. They are simply sitting on their hands, waiting for suppliers.
If we can't get real honest status reports that aren't watered down for an eight year old, and we can't get videos either, can we at least get our story straight on why we can't have those things?
Just you wait until you see me with the system in my hands and the Hallelujah song in the background. You know, that classical tune. That will definitely generate some views!

I don't upload to YouTube anymore in protest of their horrible policies, but I swear I'll post an unboxing on blip.tv when I get mine.
Or if, God forbid, I actually make a program that runs on the Pandora and does something interesting.

I'll show it connecting to my laptop via NFS or something and playing some music.
Then I'll make a second video showing the Pandora on blip.tv, watching the unboxing video. And multitasking.
It will be so hardcore.
