EDIT:  Found the problem, had NOTHING to do with the firmware update.  Went around the bezel with some pressure and middle top section pressing it caused the touchscreen to react fine again.  Still working mostly fine, it stops on occassion but pinching that section gets it working again.
FWIW, I had a similar issue with display and having to press a specific section of bezel to get screen to react properly...in my case, it turned out to be the screen protector that was put on slightly crooked and thus part of it went under the bezel....once protector was applied correctly, problem went away....

NEW Added LED-Settings dialogue. You can now set brightness setting for your Power LED and also disable / enable the SD1/SD2/Bluetooth/WiFi LEDs
 Uhm .. I'm probably overlooking but where can I find this feature?  :wacko:   Is it terminal-only maybe?

Pandora button - Settings - LED-Settings
Aha, I am not having that entry. Now I remember I had an error during the update.

In the upgrade.log it says:

Collected errors:

* check_data_file_clashes: Package pandora-scripts wants to install file /usr/pandora/scripts/op_menu.sh

But that file is already provided by package * check_data_file_clashes: openbox

Is this a bug in the RC and should I wait upon a fix?

PNDstore dont start here with this Error:

/usr/bin/env: python2: No such file or directory
I have used the Upgrade OS Function,when it work by yours fine,must i reflash ;)

So, I modified the PXML of Arora (and pushed it on the repo for other to test) to add File Associations.

I used the same associations than the one defined in the ".desktop" file.

They are:

<associations>
<association name="Open an HTML file" filetype="text/html" />
<association name="Open an XML file" filetype="text/xml" />
<association name="Open an XHTML file" filetype="application/xhtml+xml" />
<association name="Open an XML file" filetype="application/xml" />
<association name="Open an GIF file" filetype="image/gif" />
<association name="Open an JPEG file" filetype="image/jpeg" />
<association name="Open an PNG file" filetype="image/png" />
</associations>
and the exec line of the PXML is set to

<exec command="scripts/arora.sh" extraarguments="%U"/>
as I assume Arora quand take many URL at once (I used $@ in the arora.sh to pass parameters to the real executable).
I tested a bit. Looks it works the first time, but not sure it works the 2nd time in a row. I got some problems with the mount of the PND. I have to test more.

PNDstore dont start here with this Error:

/usr/bin/env: python2: No such file or directory
Same over here. The usual PNDstore doesnt start anymore.

I used the Upgrade OS Function as well in the first place.

But since something went wrong with that process,

I had to redo a manual reflash of the OS.

I just found a bug. Charging the Pandora via its mini-USB port causes its Keyboard to stop working and freeze when trying to reboot it.
Is anyone else experiencing this bug? Btw, charging it via an AC Adapter doesn't cause this issue.

PND store doesn't work here as well.

I reflashed.

Can't it be replaced by PND Manager?

[ 61.379638] exiting task "irq/7-TWL4030-P" (230) is an active IRQ thread (irq 7)

Btw, I have noticed that it only occurrs after disconnecting from the mini-USB cable when USB Host is enabled.

Zero3K: I think Notaz may have already fixed that. (see the OTG thread in Support) Try running Upgrade Pandora OS again to get the latest kernel revision and see if that makes any difference.

In the last update 3 config files are not overwritten.

Edit: Forget it, it happens only if you modified settings, ;)

So, I modified the PXML of Arora (and pushed it on the repo for other to test) to add File Associations.

I used the same associations than the one defined in the ".desktop" file.

They are:

<associations>
<association name="Open an HTML file" filetype="text/html" />
<association name="Open an XML file" filetype="text/xml" />
<association name="Open an XHTML file" filetype="application/xhtml+xml" />
<association name="Open an XML file" filetype="application/xml" />
<association name="Open an GIF file" filetype="image/gif" />
<association name="Open an JPEG file" filetype="image/jpeg" />
<association name="Open an PNG file" filetype="image/png" />
</associations>

and the exec line of the PXML is set to

<exec command="scripts/arora.sh" extraarguments="%U"/>

as I assume Arora quand take many URL at once (I used $@ in the arora.sh to pass parameters to the real executable).

I tested a bit. Looks it works the first time, but not sure it works the 2nd time in a row. I got some problems with the mount of the PND. I have to test more.

Can you put the pnd up somewhere I can see it?

Is your runscript working right? ie: Some people make the mistake of putting the main executable with a & to push it ot background for some reason, and thus the runscirpt runs and the job is trying to exit whiel the main app is coming up, and makes a big old mess. But you've made a lot of pnds, so I doubt you'd have made such a goofy mistake :) Still, some applications fork-on-launch which causes the same thing unless you put a loop in your scirpt ot watch for the actrual job to exit, before your main runscirpt exits. pnd_run.sh tries to catch some of thise, but it'll still give up after awhile, too.

ie: If it works once, it should work again; there sno magic going on here that hasn't been going on for some time; if the unmount is breaking, its not likely due to the new associations stuff.

jeff
The PND is on the Repo, I used my CC to do the test, I haven't upgraded my main dev Rebirth yet.

The second time, the pnd_out complained about not beeing able to mount the PND again. I'll redo some test tonight et post the pnd_out.

Note that the whole system just spits out the .desktop file; you can find it in /usr/share/applications likely, and then pluck out the Exec= line that is being generated.

Then you can copy/paste that Exec= line into terminal (without the Exec= part at the front of course :) , to watch things run live, in case you need to.

Its possible theres a bug of course, or somethign retarded going on, but it'd be surprising; I made a couple really dumb little test pnds that just pop up image viewers, and could run them a dozen times in a row no problem. But obviously Arora is much bigger, and who knows, maybe xfce is doijng something stupid or whatever, and the long startup/shutdown on the pnd may be tripping things up.

I'd try firing the pnd up the first time after a fresh reboot, and looking at the debug out then, before you close the pnd.. se eif theres any monkey business going on up front.

If I get a moment, I'll take a peek, but not sure how many moments I have today.

edit: does it matter which kind of file you're opening?
