The port request topic

How about ScummVM? Has any plans to port it been discused? Or will this not ne nessecary due to Xubuntu?
Also, since the GBA runs on an ARM processor, do you think it will be a possibility?
Thanks

There is a port for OpenTyrian for the N800/N810 and it should work on the Pandora, but it may need some work

There is even a port of OpenTyrian for the NDS! I have no doubts we will see it.

Truecrypt

I am interested in seeing Truecrypt ported to the Pandora, with support for OTF en/decrypting of Truecrypt volumes as a transparent background process, like it works on the PC. Full contents of an SD card could be encrypted and once unlocked in software by entering a password it would act like a normal unecrypted SD card until it is unmounted or turned off.

Truecrypt is an open source app with versions that work under Windows and Linux.

...CAVE STORY!

Unfortunately for everyone's free port dreams, Cave Story has been picked up for publishing on the WiiWare platform, making the whole 3rd party thing difficult to say the least.

2 Ports I'd love to see on Pandora, with source code links

The first open sourced thing I'd love to see is a version of the Classic Milton Bradley Boardgame Dark Tower. Basically, you explored 3 lands, in each land getting one of the 3 keys to get into the Dark Tower. Along the way, you'd fight monsters, handle inventory, and try to survive dragon attacks. Awesome awesome game. First up, the site that seems to have all the old authentic artwork:

And, now a link to a flash version:

And finally, the source file to an already made java version:

The second thing I'd love to see ported is a version of Noctis/Nice. It's a space exploration game that's very low on graphics, but huge on gameplay. You explore the galaxy, can name planets, stars, land on planets, ect. Nice is the more updated version of Noctis.

Below is version 11 of Nice:

And the sourcecode:

Thanks for reading these two ideas. Sorry if this post is too long :/

Can open warzone 2100 be ported? I know it was on the PSX, but i think the open version can be more modified.

Great!!! :( Does that mean that there will be no port for the Wiz either? Do I really have to buy a stupid PSP after all??* What has the world come to??? This scandalous deal gives me a totally different image of Pixel now. He couldn't have fallen into the money trap, could he?? With the Wii having a homebrew channel, why didn't he just let someone do an uncommercial port like he did with GP2X and the PSP and the NDS (although that one was never completed)? :( :( :(

*No offense to PSP owners. It's just that owning one for anything else than homebrew purposes is pretty pointless if you're living in Europe because of the almighty Sony import ban making it difficult to buy any commercial releases. That and the Pandora's arrival are the reasons why I don't own a PSP and don't want to own one, otherwise it's a fine device...

Noctis was amazing, if way over the top confusing. i would love battle for westnoth, and i really hope bob port's bob's game.

lol, i know it's not gonna happen, but albatross18 would be ultimate! :p
apart from a good n64 emultor, i'd really love some good visual novels to be ported, that was one my favourite things to use the GP2X for ^^
