What To Do Until April?

d'oh!
  • Will I be able to play my Flash hentai games?
Can't believe I forgot that one.

@Polossatik, yeah the polls too...Oh God the polls!

  • What is the exact status of accessory X?
  • By the time Pandora comes out X will have better specs
  • Can it emulate X?
  • I didn't get a reply to my order email!!???

Don't forget "Here's something else that has gaming controls", you guys. ;) (Though, I actually find those quite interesting.)

Will it work with pnd files, I searched and searched but was at my wits end and pulled the last hair from my head, I thought I saw something about captcha but not pnd..what's up with that?

You forgot the can it run (windows/halo/dialbo II/WoW) threads
Yep.
My favorites are the ones where someone is like "I don't know much about computers, but..."
and that whole sentence is redundant when they say something like:
"Couldn't you make a Linux version of WoW / Halo?"
"Couldn't you emulate Windows?"
"Couldn't you use WINE?"
"Couldn't you use magical 'virtualization' to make any of the above possible?"
"Well what if I had my PC screen-record WoW and..."
"Can I install Windows on it?"
"Can I have this one application that's an ancient piece of shit that I really really like and only runs on Windows CE 4.1?"
"Couldn't you just reverse the polarity?"
"Couldn't you just redirect power from the thrusters to the SGX"
etc.

Maybe I really do hate people. If any of my friends asked those questions, I would try to have some patience, but when people on the Internet do it, it's like a personal insult. How DARE you not know everything, right? It doesn't make sense.

I resolve to understand my own hatred of noobs by April.
Edit: Come to think of it, a good signature could solve all this. That's what I'm talkin' about.

"to preserve forum members' mental health"
ROFL
IMO, any mentally healthy person will not wait for 2 years/"months"/whatever...

Anyway, there is a nice movie with appropriate name:
"A Very Long Engagement" ("Un long dimanche de fiançailles")
So please, watch it until Panda come. Over and over again.
Oh, this one is OK too:
"Groundhog Day"
If some likes more classic: "Waiting for Godot"
IMHO, this one is much better:
"Godot in this peace is a character coming directly from one of Leone's movie (...)"

btw, April? Let's be real:
"(The 22nd) is when everything should be here, including the cases. To be on the safe side we probably won’t start until a few days after that." (Craig)
So, few days (week) after case arriving, few weeks for assembling, few weeks for shipping...
May, at least.

  • Email Jacquelyn daily and ask if my position in line has changed
  • Wish I had a Pandora

Developers working on pandora games could submit them to Intel's netbook games contest in the mean time.

2) tobacco counts?
3) oh yes, that's what i have left (now playing: BECK - LOSER)
Perhaps the nerd's list would be more suitable?
1) pr0n
2) caffeine
3) Rock 'n' roll (it's pretty universal)

There's a subtle difference here. Instead of traveling cross-country in a van to blast loud music and rocking beats at screaming fans with ear-splitting intensity, you're imagining cranking up your studio-recorded mp3s to a volume level that is loud, but not unreasonably so.

Taking March one day at a time.

Why? What's happening in April?

Doom! The Chinese will not make the 22nd so that'll tip OP's plans in to a cocked hat.

Pandora's will ship in May, or later, or earlier. Not in March tough.

I'm trying to be positive but I'm finding it hard. I think I needed this question a month ago.
I think I'm beyond saving. I'm not getting you down am I? I'd hate it if I was getting you down.

Mairzy doats and dozy doats and liddle lamzy divey...

Bears?

Anyway, I approve of this list.

Trying to be normal, but my enthusiasm for Linux prevents that. I went to a bookstore today, hoping to pick up the latest issue of a magazine I like. However, they still had the February edition on the shelf. So I went to an assistant and asked, "Do you know when the March issue of Linux Format comes in?" By the time I got to "Format," she was laughing.

True story.
