You're one of the most sinister-sounding women I know, Fluff. Maybe except my fiancée. :D

"I live again"

"Nevermore"

"Show yourself! Show Yourself!"

"Ahhh, it's stuck"

"My precious Ophelia"

"I hate mimes"

"Here's Johnny!"

"Oohhh, single white female"

"It burns, it burns!"

"Somewhere over the rainbow"

I'm sure the Pandora will be able to handle it just fine, not through DOS though; I'm sure it has been ported to ARM.

Haha Yea bit of a retard moment (amongst many). But still, its good enough to be mention twice.

CUBE!
http://cubeengine.com
not only is it open-source, OpenGL, but has LOADS of maps (singleplayer and multi) available. The code should be easy to port in theory, the main coder behind the project tries to make a game out of adding features in as little lines of code as possible :D

Cube 2 would be a bit of a stretch, but could work :D

I'd like to see Kenta Cho's games working (most have linux ports already). Maybe Freeciv and such.

I wonder if UT2004 would work. It's not open source, but there's a linux version. However, it has an installer, so it's probably a binary (meaning you couldn't recompile it for ARM). Or am I wrong?

do you mean, you are not going to port all af them for me? :p

well, there are so many great open source games out there, that it's really hard to make a decision.
They are mostly no top of the edge productions, but on a mobile device with a high resolution, they would all be great.

I missed to mention gridwars, that is not open source, as far as I know, but has a native linux client.

This has been long overdue for a port, dual analogs will make for nice controls.

JakeK - have you looked into ScummVM? A whole heap of those classic Sierra games are on the GP2X already, albeit without any useful method of text entry! So I'd say it's a dead certain for Pandora. :)

most wanted... probably quake (with an upgraded engine, even), then blocktrix (or similar upgraded tetrinet client), scummvm, frotz (the keyboard would rock!), zdoom...
and if we get unrealistic... carmageddon, star trek armada, tyrian 2000, half-life :)
