Errors:
Ok, The menu says "Press A to start", but pressing X starts a game.
The Gui says Y to remove from favourites, but Y adds to favourites.

Experience:
Runs smooth on Pandora. But takes a while longer to load than, say, gnuboy. Not sure if because the GUI starts immediately and only after a while it gets "active".

To play:
Run once, go to your newly created ./appdata/pnes/roms/ to put roms there. did not test ln -s

@FBnil thanks for testing. Yeah, I haven't touched the GUI, and it's done with the Nintendo Switch in mind...
The loading is pretty long, because it load the ressources, compile all the shaders, and so on, and yes, that takes quite some time. I haven't tried to optimize that..

I am sorry, it might be a bit infantile, but I just can't get over the acronym of this emulator. Psnes kinda works, but did the original dev not ever think about how pnes sounds when spoken out loud? Well, at least it might have put a smile on a few faces and there are probably worse names

So here it goes: @Wally sorry to hear that your pnes didn't generate properly. Don't fall for those enhancement emails, those supplements do nothing :p maybe try starting it in a warmer environment next time...

I never said i didn't like it, just that it's hella funny. And ofcourse i remember nesticle. But it's even funnier if it's not on purpose.

Heh, yeah this looks to be accidental to me. The main project is called pemu, and it builds pnes, psnes and pfba. The 'P' seems to mean portable in this instance.
