I'm going to try rewording this so it doesn't come off as a personal email on the boards as I seem to be known for now...

I'm pretty frustrated at the moment as I have saved a very long time to buy a 166 gp32 as some of you know... I'm finally going to have my money saved in 4 days to get a 166 gp32, glass screen mod and an smc... and the site I was going to buy from has an out of stock sticker on the 166 models...

my other choice run by a man named Craig, was also rumored to be out of stock a few days ago... and as far as I know doesn't do glass screen mods... and has overseas shipping too I'm sure... (Craig if you do do glass screens set me straight please)

So here I am finally able to get my gp32 and it seems no one has a 166 model... and quite frankly the processor speeds vary far too much for me to leave it to chance by ordering a random one.... with my luck I'd get a 133 model.

As far as e-mailing either of these two chaps, I've bothered them both a lot, finding out things about these devices and really don't want to whine to either of them about their stock when they have businesses to run that do not revolve around getting me the perfect gp32.

So I guess I'll just wait it out a lil longer and try not to annoy anyone on the boards or the stores and order when I see a green sticker on the 166 model... or read a thread that says Craig got his shipment or already had it...

Anyhow... sorry if I offended any of you by posting what seemed to be messages more appropriate for personal e-mail... just wanted to know if anyone could shed some light on the current availability of 166 gp32's in general... are they drying up?

seems to me that the first of those 2 chaps to offer you a 166 guaranteed GP32 gets your money...

(AFAIK craig doesn't do the glass screen, but the customer service is great there... I spoke to his mam, my GP32 arrived in a coupla days... (the SMC's were very expensive at the time though... I gather they're a more reasonable price now...)

the other source? dunno... is that the place that does the glass screen?

I'm thinking the cheapest 128 I've seen was 24E, and that's in Finland... We tend to have a bit more expensive electronics.

Something like, if the new PSP would cost 100E in rest of Europe, here it would be 120E... Whine... <_<

We arn't out of stock, we have over 100, dollar is very weak against the pound though if you are in USA.

hey, I ordered mine from Lik-Sang and it successfully overclocks to 166 with no problems. Even if you got one that wasn't able to overclock to 166, if you're planning on getting the glass screen mod, you could just get the overclock mod at the same time, just an idea.
Good luck on picking one up!

I bought a voltage modded gp32 blu from Craig and it works great! I've received great service from him. I've also bought a gameking from him but I don't know where in shipping it is hee hee it should get over that big body of water ( Atlantic Ocean) and most of the USA anytime now...

Craig is a good seller..

Well, obviously the other source you `re talkin about is GP32Z (or jr2swiss). In fact he has atm no more 166mhz Blu´s in his stock , but you could still buy a regular one with glass screen, and let him voltagemod it, so it will probably clock around 166MHz. I can´t recommend buying from GBAX if you ´re going to pay in dollar, because the dollar is atm (as you brobably know) rather weak (this is the time for me to buy at export shops who´re takin dollars... 1 € is worth 1,31 $ atm !!! :D :D :D ). Of course the surest thing would be waiting until gp32z has some 166MHz BLU´s back in stock...

Hey I just ordered my 166 BLU w/ a glass screen from GP32z and it came on fri. Let me tell you, it was definatley worth the wait. If you talk to him (jr2swiss) he may let you order now and he'll send it as soon as he gets them in stock.

Plus if you get the glass screen now he'll give you gloop deluxe with it.(a very good game)

meh... I've waited too long and I'm going buggy from it... on pay day (Friday) who ever has one that clocks to 166 in stock gets my money... if its gp32z... great cause I want the glass screen, if its gbax, I'll survive with out the glass screen and extra shipping...

Both stores seem to be equally trustworthy and deserving of my business...
