I can read korean symbols, but my vocab is really bad.

Korean GP2X page.

At the start it says hello, and I can read some of the englishafied korean words, but what does the article actually mean?

Does list a few interesting things for the GP2X.

1. Game SDK with GCC 4.x

2. Genesis/Megadrive/MegaCD

3. Sound core, Doom porting, SNES

4. Neo-Geo

5. Quake engine porting, 3D work

6. NES, SMS, MSX, GBC, GB

7. Others: ARM에서의 개발을 위한 유틸리티 개발

8. 3D graphic library, 3D engine and examples

9. Naruto 3D porting, New 3D racing game(like wipeout), Gunbound clone

10. MAME, PSX, Dos Box(PC emulator with MS-DOS)

11. Build SDL/Lib C cross compiling toolchain, VBA32(GBA 에뮬)

I don't know it is in the FAQ section. Maybe it is stating what is possible with the system.

then why would they say.

"3D graphic library, 3D engine and examples"

why would someone say that they may have in the future the ability to create examples?

Which sounds like something which will be delivered with the SDK.

Yep, I agree. Looks like a list of "known" projects currently being worked on. Various emus, games and tools.

"New 3D racing game(like wipeout), "

I love Wipeout Pure. :) So that definitely interests me.

We'll know for sure once they translate it to the English side, or until polooo2 tells us exactly what it says. :)

ok, I was at the korean mirc room.

And someone told me that these are a progress report on what is/has been developed.

in case anyone wants to login, it is...

But it is Korean Language room. So most text will be scribbles like above. ^__^

I'd kill to have Sega CD emulation on this thing. Snatcher on the go would be awesome.

hell yes! also sonic cd and other choice sega cd titles.

2x is looking better and better :^)

^that self powered hdd wouldn't get the 5v of power it probably needs from the 2x :( you'd need to carry some batteries to power that.

Yeah, i think it has it's own DC or lithium or something.

Usually "self powered" means it has it's own internal power just like the external drive they're talking about using with PSP. come to think of it they kinda look alike:

are you serious????
what kind of battery life can you get on that?
also, what's this external hdd for psp?

edit: n/m, i see the psp logo on their site. i wonder how portable something like that is..

Supposedly some people with PSPs found you can store files on it and transfer them to your PSP's memory stick thus increasing your viewable content by a great deal. 2gb memstick too expensive? buy one of those and bring a tone more movies with you... atleast that the theory I havent tried to look into it further but it's feasible as long as you can set it to send to another device since the PSP and 2X dont have GUI features that actively retrieve fiels from and outside source.

As for batteries, it cant be worse than an iPod or other mini HD device with an internal battery, around 10 hours, but you hardly need it to be on that long to transfer files on a case by case basis.

as for the mega cd emulation, i think we can safely say that reesy will be the guy to thank for that - once he gets his gp2x from craig.

Hurry up craig - reesy has miracles to perform!!
