So, i was checking TI's website and noticed that the 3530 is no longer on the list (although it still has an active status).
I also noticed that the pandora wiki redirects the omap details to the 3430 specs.
My question is, the pandora will have a 3530 right? :p

PS: a mod can close this thread with the answer

Considering the Pandora's like one of, if not the first device to use this specific chip. They're not going to can it, particularly when there's still demand for it.

Anyway. Big companies never have up to date websites.

The 3530 is currently TI's flagship SoC. It is just beginning it's life. TI will be manufacturing the 3530 for many years to come.

Could you please tell me what you were smoking? ;)

This list?

This is the list of Application processors of TI. I can spot the 3530 :)

You can aswell specify which "list" you were talking about :)

Yeah you can see it on "Definitions for Device Terminology"
"
ACTIVE: Device, tool, or software recommended for new designs.

LIFEBUY: TI has announced that the device, tool, or software will be discontinued, and a lifetime-buy period is in effect.
"

I asked because the wiki article, points to the 3430 data sheet. I just wanted to be certain. That's why i asked to close this thread.
Just wanted a yes or no, not to make room to questions like "Could you please tell me what you were smoking?" ;)
